| Case Manager - Transitional Living Program | Date:1/20/2012 |
| Help residents (ages 18-21) transition into self-sufficiency - “transitional living” - by assisting residents obtain safe and stable housing, develop life skills, achieve educational and financial growth goals, and establish healthy, supportive adult and peer relationships. Provide a therapeutic environment that promotes the physical and mental health of each resident. Participate as a team member in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of program planning for residents. Direct and manage groups of clients through; creative recreational activities, life skill and counseling groups, adhering to and implementing program structure and policies. Due to the nature of the work and client needs, the Case Manager is considered a “direct care position.” Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school in Social Work, Health, Human Services or Education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 6 months of direct care service, particularly with children and/or adolescents, is strongly preferred. Valid driver's license.

| Develop case plans within the guidelines of the DCYF contract based on assessment data and summaries. Provide general support, information and referrals, and coordination of services to assist residents/families in meeting personal and self-sufficiency goals. Assist in developing life skills; supervise residents’ behavior and activities and participate in identifying personal and adjustment issues. Organize and maintain appropriate weekly progress notes, logs and other documentation; attend court reviews, compose court letters, and make recommendations to the court for further involvement. Implement behavior management systems utilizing counseling techniques and crisis interventions. Due to the nature of the work and resident needs, the Residential Case Manager is considered a “direct care position.” Bachelor Degree from an accredited school in Social Work, Health, Human Services or Education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Full-time position responsible for managing all administrative matters related to the offices of the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and the Vice President of Institutional Advancement for Child & Family. This includes preparing written correspondence, managing calendars/meeting schedules, daily interaction with the Board of Directors, filtering telephone calls, planning travel arrangements, and all other administrative duties. Additionally, the responsibilities will include attending relevant meetings, recording and distributing minutes, assisting with fundraising programs and events, as well as assisting in the preparation of marketing materials and presentations. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, detail-oriented, possess strong verbal and communication skills, maintain a strong sense of urgency, and will have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access) and Microsoft Outlook (including calendar management) required; prior experience working with development software strongly preferred. A Bachelor of Science or Arts degree is required for this position; prior experience in development/working for a non-profit agency is strongly preferred. Must have ability to work early morning and evening hours when necessary as well as occasional weekends (3-4 times per year).

| Database Coordinator (Middletown) | Date:1/17/2012 |
The Rhode Island Care Managed Network (RICMN) Database Coordinator shall support Network operations through the on-going maintenance, management and development of the RICMN Management Information System. The position shall also provide operational support to key stakeholders through the development of reports (business intelligence, quality assurance, etc.) and provision of technical assistance to end-users. Associate Degree in Information Technology (IT) with 2-3 years of relevant experience, a concentration in database development/management/design or some combination of experience and relevant coursework/certifications. Experience with IBM AS/400 preferred. Experience with LWSI software a plus. Experience in designing SQL,.NET, Crystal Report and/or ODBC queries for the purpose of database management, quality assurance and in support of established reporting requirements is strongly preferred.

| Clinical Review Specialist | Date:1/9/2012 |
Provide utilization management through comprehensive and regular case reviews, in accordance with the RI Care Management Network (RICMN) and Department of Children Youth & Families (DCYF) standards. Ensure through case reviews, each child and family in the RICMN is receiving the most clinically appropriate supports and services consistent with their demonstrated needs. Position requires significant travel within the state of Rhode Island. Master Degree in Social Work or a Social Science field of study that is closely related to the duties required by the position. Knowledge of the DCYF system and demonstrated success in administering programs for children and families required. Independent licensure preferred (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC); willing to consider independent licensure eligibility within three (3) months from date of hire. Prefer five (5) years post graduate experience in the child welfare field. This position requires a valid driver’s license.

The Supervisor/Coach is the direct supervisor for Network Care Coordinators and Family Support Partners and is responsible for their training, oversight and ensuring fidelity to the Wraparound model. Responsible for providing individual and group supervision to BA level front-line staff who work directly with families, children and youth, who have been the victim of abuse and neglect, who have serious emotional disturbance or a developmental disability and/or who have involvement with juvenile justice. Due to the nature of the workflow and level of responsibility this position may go beyond a forty hour workweek. An earned Master Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling (or related field) and five (5) years or more of direct experience in providing family-based services, with a minimum of one year at the supervisory level is required. Licensure at the independent level preferred. Must maintain flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the families. This position requires a valid driver’s license.

| Work with families and children using the High Fidelity Wraparound Model. Responsible for the functions of wraparound facilitator including family engagement, identifying and enhancing natural supports, facilitating the wraparound process, writing and revising the family wraparound plan along with scheduling and facilitating family team meetings. Must be able to collaborate closely with a team of family members, DCYF and professionals to develop and implement individualized family plans of care. Demonstrate a working knowledge of child and adolescent development, family dynamics, substance abuse issues, home management and parenting skills, and crisis intervention. Bachelor Degree in Social Work or related field required; must be able to maintain a flexible schedule in order to meet the needs of the family. Prior experience in child welfare, parent education, home-based services, work with culturally diverse populations, and families/children with behavioral health concerns preferred. Ensure monthly curriculum contains detailed lesson plans outlining specific activities which meet the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive needs of children. Share in the implementation of daily activities based on the children’s individual assessments, and oversee classroom activities interacting directly with groups and individuals. Teacher position requires a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education with Rhode Island teacher certification and experience in a licensed child care setting.Ensure monthly curriculum contains detailed lesson plans outlining specific activities which meet the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive needs of children. Share in the implementation of daily activities based on the children’s individual assessments, and oversee classroom activities interacting directly with groups and individuals. This position is in our new state-of-the-art Sandpipers Early Learning Center which is licensed by the State of Rhode Island and is accredited through the Council on Accreditation (COA). Must meet all state licensing regulations and requirements, and physically capable of lifting up to 30 pounds. Teacher position requires a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education with Rhode Island teacher certification and experience in a licensed child care setting.

Junior and Senior Residential Counselor – 2nd (4 PM – 12 AM) & 3rd (12 AM – 8 AM) Full-time and relief shifts available. Counselors work in our multi-site, residential program that serves behaviorally involved, abused and/or neglected youths from 6 to 18 years of age. Assist residents in developing life skills and work as a part of a therapeutic team, establishing communication and support among co-workers. Responsible for the supervision of residents and the coordination and execution of their treatment plans as directed. Counselors provide the support services - the “direct care” needed for the residents – life skills, behavior management techniques, meal preparation, household chores, after-school activities. Junior Counselor requires a High School diploma with some related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Senior Counselor requires a Bachelor Degree from an accredited school in Social Work, Health, Human Services or Education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Some experience working with adolescents a plus. These positions are available in Newport, Middletown, Portsmouth and our newest location in West Kingston, RI.

| Provide home-based services to individuals and families experiencing stress in coping with physical, emotional or social difficulties. Identify the needs and provide support with appropriate services to promote and maintain families living together and working as a team with the Clinical Caseworkers. Respond to families in crisis throughout the area stipulated in the DCYF contract. Due to the nature of the workflow and level of responsibility employee must maintain a flexible schedule, which would include evenings and weekends, and alternating on-call duties as assigned. Bachelor Degree in Social Work or related field of study, or equivalent experience in child welfare services. Knowledge of child and adolescent development, family dynamics, substance abuse, home management, parenting skills and crisis interventions. The position requires a valid driver’s license, ability to drive for continuous periods of time between clients’ homes within RI, climb stairs, and type repeatedly during the course of the work day.

Bachelor Degree in the Social Sciences (Psychology, Social Work) or Business Administration plus a minimum of 2 years demonstrated successful experience in quality assurance and improvement activities using control standards, procedures and statistical techniques. The Director of Quality & Performance shall support the Senior Vice President of Network Services in the development, implementation and operation of the RI Care Management Network (RICMN) evaluation plan and shall be responsible for the quality, assurance and integrity of all associated data. The position shall also provide operational support to key stakeholders in support of data collection and continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives. Some travel required. Master Degree in the Social Sciences (Psychology, Social Work) with a strong background in data collection, quality assurance and statistical analysis required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English language) required. Must be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other related MS Office applications. Proficiency in statistical analysis software (i.e. SPSS, SAS, etc.) and experience working with relational database is required.

| Per-diem and full-time positions available to provide personal assistance, general support and companionship for Senior clients living in their homes throughout Newport County. Homemaker will perform general housekeeping tasks, shopping, laundry, and meal preparation. Home Health Aides report changes in the client's environment, as well as their physical and mental well-being to the Program Supervising Nurse. Provide personal care and/or other nursing assistant duties per current State regulations and in accordance with established plan of care. No nights, weekends, or holidays required; travel time and mileage reimbursement. Home Health Aides must be Certified Nursing Assistants - licensed through the RI Department of Health, and Homemakers must have completed an approved training course and be a certified Homemaker to qualify. A valid driver’s license with proof of insurance is required as well as experience and/or interest in working with the elderly.
